According to an online poll by Ultraframe, 74% of homeowners would prefer a modern orangery over a traditional one.
Ultraframe’s marketing director, Alex Hewitt, said: “While there is certainly still a place for traditional orangeries, the modern orangery is suited to many more homes and fits perfectly with the strong, clean lines that are so popular in current home trends. The modern orangery image shown in our poll was a stunning example of what can be achieved with our Ultrasky roof.”
According to Ultraframe, the Ultrasky roof is the strongest glazed roof on the market with a potential span of 8m wide and can be fitted twice as fast as a traditional orangery roof – typically saving two days on site versus a traditional build. Ultraframe also claims that the system boasts 25% fewer bars than any other comparable system, meaning there is less profile and more glass to ensure maximum light in the room below. Ultrasky is also thermally broken inside and out for ‘unrivalled’ thermal performance.
Alex concluded: “The results of this poll reinforce why promoting orangeries using our Ultrasky roof is a fantastic opportunity for our customers. We now have conclusive proof that 74% of homeowners prefer this style of orangery and when you couple this with its fantastic thermal, time-saving and strength benefits, Ultrasky is the ultimate choice for contemporary orangeries.”
