Organisers of this year’s Glazing Summit conference have announced that GQA Qualifications, a specialist awarding body for the glazing industry, is to be the event’s technical sponsor. The team at GQA has been writing industry-relevant qualifications for more than 25 years, and will be joined at the event by representatives of ‘Building Our Skills – Making Fenestration a Career of Choice’, a trading company and GQA-backed initiative that aims to attract new people into the glazing industry.
The Glazing Summit, which this year is due to take place on Thursday 12 October at Edgbaston Stadium, is a key event in the sector’s calendar, thanks to its mix of debates on leading issues, and its networking opportunities. For Mick Clayton, GQA’s CEO, these are reasons why his team has decided to sponsor the event for the first time.
