Genius PVC Trade Frames expands fleet with vehicle investment

Norwich-based fabricator Genius PVC Trade Frames has announced a significant expansion to its delivery fleet with the addition of a new 18-tonne XL van, with a second identical vehicle already on order.

The strategic investment represents the latest chapter in the company’s ongoing growth story and commitment to enhancing its nationwide service capabilities, with its transport arm going from strength to strength and Jason Morton rapidly approaching his one-year anniversary as dedicated Transport Manager.

Operations Director Lee Dickinson explained: “This new addition to our fleet is a game-changer for our logistics operations. With our customer base expanding nationwide, we needed to ensure our delivery capabilities could keep pace with production.

“These new 18-tonne vehicles will allow us to deliver greater efficiency and reliability than ever before. We pride ourselves on supplying our customers with what they want in just five days and this investment will help us continue to deliver that.”

The new vehicles complement the fabricator’s recent £3.2 million investment in state-of-the-art machinery, including a new BAZ Tandem Schirmer cutting centre and a ROTOX Horizontal 8 Head Welding and Cleaning Line, and a factory expansion, demonstrating Genius’ continued commitment to strengthening its position in the fenestration sector.

The investments support Genius in expanding its product range to include Deceuninck systems, which complement its already established popular Kömmerling range.

“This investment comes at a pivotal time for Genius, as we continue to build on the momentum generated by our expansion, and expanding our range has already increased demand,” added Lee.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance our service and support our clients better and we recognise that excellence in production must be matched by excellent supply.”

Founded in 2019 by industry veterans Peter Dyson, David Eagle and Martyn Buckley, it all points to an exciting future for Genius and its trade customers across the UK.
