The Glazerite UK Group Ltd has announced a series of investments, totalling £500,000, designed to leverage growth potential for installer partners. The leading trade fabricator says that its investments demonstrate customer commitment as well as reflecting the Group’s long-term aspirations.
A significant part of the investment will increase Glazerite’s capacity and how it manufactures flush sash products, to accommodate rising market demand. This will be achieved by the installation of new machinery at its Glazerite East site in Peterborough this month. Key equipment at its Wellingborough plant has also been refurbished to improve product quality, while, at its Specials division, Perbrorough, new hanging benches and racks have been installed. The fabricator has also added new vehicles to its fleet.
Robert Brearley, Glazerite’s group managing director, said: “We have ambitious growth plans for both our business and our customers and investment is key to achieving those aims. In addition to new equipment, we’re also investing in our marketing support packages, which will be rolled out this year. This includes a fresh, new, branded website and a social media toolkit, which will help our installers showcase their products and services to customers. Our marketing team is continually developing tools and assets to support our installers, giving them access to resources that will help elevate them in their own markets.”
Completing last year’s set of investments, Glazerite has undergone a major expansion, and has installed a new showroom at its north west site in Bolton. Robert added: “Over the last few months, we’ve taken stock of where we are as a business and what improvements we can make across the Group. We’re in the process of rolling out a continuous improvement strategy to optimise efficiencies and allow for greater visibility of the end-to-end process. Alongside investment, this will bring obvious improvements to our service levels, from lead times through to quality and performance, at a time when the industry is gearing up for growth in areas like foiled and flush sash products. Glazerite is focused on delivering the very best for our installer partners and, after a challenging time for us all, we’re looking forward to the year ahead.”
