Organisers of this year’s G Awards – a recognition scheme for businesses within the UK glazing industry – have reported being overwhelmed with entries for this year’s awards. The team has achieved a 70% increase on nominations from 2022, organisers have confirmed.
“The enthusiasm and innovation from the industry has been amazing,” said Tony Higgin, the G Awards’ event organiser. “We are excited to get onto the judging phase with our excellent panel of experts, and can’t wait to announce the shortlist.”
Now in its 19th year, the G Awards is marketed as as the ultimate event to recognise and reward excellence in the UK glass and glazing industry. This year’s presentation ceremony, G23, is due to take place on Friday 24 November 2023 and at the London Hilton hotel on Park Lane.
Launched in 2004, and held annually in London, the G Awards is dedicated to celebrating innovation and exceptional performance from the best companies and people in the UK market. The awards are highly acclaimed by guests, winners, industry event supporters and commercial sponsors.
This year’s event at the London Hilton on Park Lane is take place in the Grand Ballroom, following the recent refurbishment of the five-star venue.
