ODL Europe fabricator Future Products is celebrating 40 years in business this year.

Stuart Bower, managing director of Future Products, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating this milestone. We’ve come a long way since 1984, but our core values remain the same – we’re committed to high quality British manufacturing, exceptional customer service and competitive pricing.”

Future Products began in a 1,000 sq ft facility in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire employing two people. The company is still based in Mansfield but now occupies a 67,000 sq ft office and factory complex and employs 146 people.

The company was co-founded by Dennis Thorpe, who retired last year. He left the leadership team in charge, who took over as co-owners. As well as Stuart as managing director, the team is completed by Martin Lindsey as operations director, Chris Thompson as sales director and Andrew Francis as finance director.

Stuart continued: “We’re proud to be continuing Dennis’ legacy, especially his belief that people are at the heart of a business. We’d be nowhere without our internal team and the support of our external supply partners such as ODL Europe. They are integral to our success.”

Suzanne Nicholl, head of sales and marketing at ODL Europe, said: “Congratulations to Future Products on this anniversary. It’s a business that is respected and renowned for delivering superior quality and partnering with innovative supply partners to deliver products its customers appreciate. We are delighted to have worked alongside them for many years and look forward to continuing our successful partnership for many more to come.”

Stuart added: “Our priority has always been to deliver exceptional products and service that genuinely enhance our customers’ businesses. We understand that our customers have many options, and we are truly grateful for their continued trust in us. As we look ahead, we remain committed to exceeding expectations and supporting their success for the next 40 years!”
