Window and door fabricator Frame Fast UK was presented with a Seal of Excellence award from developers Wheeldon Brothers, while working the Dial, a new build development in Spondon, Derby. Frame Fast manufactured Elite flush PVC-U windows, composite doors and French doors with triple glazing. The Dial won a Seal of Excellence Award in the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job 2020 awards last month.
Built on a redundant and derelict brown field commercial site, the Dial is made up of 113 homes – including two, three and four bedroom detached, semi-detached and bungalows. The site backs onto a stretch of the newly restored canal by The Derby and Sandiacre Canal Trust.

The two companies, who are both Marketing Derby Bondholders, have worked together since 2014 on several projects, with more upcoming developments across Derbyshire in Loscoe, Belper and Rocester, Staffordshire. Frame Fast UK is the region’s largest trade fabricator of PVC-U and aluminium windows and doors, composite doors, conservatories, bespoke glass and conservatory roofs. The company supports house builders, installers, architects and developers from their 55,000ft² production facilities on Ascot Drive, Derby.
