FIT Show organisers have announced a restructure to its gala dinner evening by revising the format and holding the event in support of GM Fundraising and Hope House Children’s Hospices.
The event will take place on 22 May, following the second day of the 2019 FIT Show exhibition, at the NEC Resorts World complex at the VOX.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception from 7pm followed by a three-course meal served by the VOX’s award winning team led by head chef, Aaron Johnson. As part of the evening, the FIT Show award winners will be announced, and guests will be invited to participate in a silent auction to help raise funds for its chosen charity.
FIT Show event director, Nickie West, said: “We’ve taken on board the feedback of our audience and will be shaking up the format of the industry’s much-loved celebratory event, taking the FIT Show gala dinner back to its roots.
“Our guests can expect an intimate evening of networking, celebrating the fantastic work that is being done throughout our industry with the FIT Show Awards and all whilst helping to raise much needed funds for GM Fundraising.”
GM Fundraising founder, Gary Morton, added: “We’re delighted that FIT Show will host its gala dinner in support of GM Fundraising and the fantastic team at Hope House Children’s Hospices. Our industry is like no other when it comes to supporting special causes.
“What better way to celebrate the brilliant work that is being done across the industry than coming together for this special evening and raising much needed funds for a very worthy cause in the process.”
