The Coventry-based Edgetech team has been recognised in two categories of the Quanex Awards this year: safety and service. The team won the Safety and Stakeholder Emerald Award for its rigorous safety processes as well as for the conduct of its employees. In addition, Jason Blundred, Edgetech Coventry’s head of operations, was awarded the President’s Service Award in recognition of ‘decades of outstanding work’.
Edgetech, the UK-based glazing spacer bar business, is a subsidiary of Quanex. The awards presentation ceremony was held at Quanex’s HQ in Houston, Texas.

Edgetech’s employees gathered on site to watch the Quanex Awards presentation ceremony, which was streamed from Texas. While watching the proceedings, they enjoyed fish and chips as well as ice cream from a van hired especially for the occasion.
