ISO-Chemie UK had two good reasons to celebrate in July after a memorable day at the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) joint Window and Door Group and Conservatory Association meeting in Solihull.
Not only was the company accepted into full GGF membership and presented with its joining member’s certificate, but it was also presented with its Glass Charter Bronze Level 2 certificate which highlights the health and safety levels it has achieved under the GGF’s Glass Charter scheme.
ISO-Chemie’s Peter Thompson said: “We are strong supporters of raising health and safety awareness and standards both within the industry and with the general public. Health and safety should not simply be a stick to hit people with or some sort of ‘jobs worth’ or ‘tick box’ excuse. It should be there to protect our employees, as well as the public and done in a realistic manner that allows people to get on with their work. I believe the right policy implemented realistically will benefit both business growth and the guys doing the job.”
