Distinction Doors has reported that 2023 was the best year for its nxt-gen door range, with prep sales up 5% on the previous year and doubling since 2020.
Emma Fowlds, junior marketing manager from Distinction Doors, said: “With many homeowners now choosing flush windows they want the same look and feel from their entrance door. With its exclusive flush-fitted beaded system and moulding our nxt-gen entrance doors meet that demand.”
According to Distinction Doors, there’s a style to suit any property in the range, from the nxt-gen ES02 Esteem to the latest addition, nxt-gen CR01 Craftsman. Homeowners then make it their own with Distinction’s exclusive decorative glass range and bespoke colour palette with dual-colour option, it noted.
Emma added: “And for fabricators its easy and convenient too. With no cassette, nxt-gen requires significantly less glazing time and consumables, and if de-glazing is ever required, it’s much easier.
“Social housing is likely to be a growth market in the coming year with private developers still feeling the effects of higher mortgage rates and the cost-of-living crisis. nxt-gen can help our fabricators meet the requirements of this more demanding customer base and secure new business. Weatherproofing, energy efficiency, security, sound insulation and thermal performance, nxt-gen meets, if not exceeds, every demand.
“The 44.5mm nxt-gen blank range also has proven specification requirements to meet the certification of PAS 24:2022, helping to support Secured by Design approved fabricators in manufacturing the ultimate enhanced security doorset. An asset in this competitive market.”
