Direct Trade Windows has added the Smart Alitherm Heritage range to its portfolio, after reporting increased demand for luxury home improvement products. Alitherm Heritage profiles create a barrier between cold air outside and warm air inside using innovative polyamide thermal break technology, according to it its representatives. This reduces thermal transmittance and enhances the product’s U-value while also meeting Document L requirements.
Direct Trade Windows now supplies Alitherm Heritage windows and doors, both of which are said to offer superb thermal efficiency. Designed to function as a direct replacement for steel windows, the range of windows is available in either fixed, tilt-and-turn, side-hung or top-hung open-out casement configurations.
Also designed as high-quality steel replacements, Alitherm Heritage doors are available in both single and double door configurations. They offer extremely slim sightlines and are equipped with multi-point locking and face-mounted shootbolts.
Both Alitherm Heritage windows and doors are security tested to PAS24:2016 and come with a wide range of heritage and art deco hardware options, making them ‘the ideal addition to any property style’, according to the product’s representatives. The range is also available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including metallic, dual-colour and Alchemy anodised finishes.
