Crittall Windows has released an energy efficient new steel door system for both the commercial and consumer market.
Known as Homelight Plus, this latest addition to the Crittall Windows portfolio offers a unique set of features and benefits, a company statement said. The new door is durable, long lasting and incorporates slim profiles and large expanses of glass, it added. It has also achieved an A+ Door Set Energy Rating and meets Approved Document L regulations.
All Homelight Plus doors are equipped with multi-point locking systems and have passed the PAS24 security test and meet the requirements specified in Approved Document Q.
Available in single or double leaf format means the steels doors can accommodate a range of project needs, Crittal Windows stated. Every door is hot-dip galvanised for increased durability and is powder-coated in any RAL, BS or custom shade, it noted.
Russell Ager, managing director at Crittall Windows, said: “Homelight Plus is our core residential range including steel windows which have been restyled and re-engineered to provide higher energy-saving accreditations, advanced performance and security.
“Following the success of these quality steel windows, we knew we had to expand the range further and so we’ve worked tirelessly to add a high performing steel door to this portfolio.
“We’re incredibly proud of the system and the outstanding performance it can achieve. Compliant with Approved Document L and Q means that installers can feel confident they’re working with a product which not only meets the latest building regulations, but also looks fantastic and is built to last a lifetime.”
