Conservatory Outlet’s Premium Retail Network raises over £10,000 For Mind

Ahead of their upcoming 24 Peak Challenge, Conservatory Outlet and its Network of Premium Retailers are delighted to announce that they’ve raised over £10,000 for Mind.

The group, led by Conservatory Outlet CEO Greg Kane and featuring participants from all corners of the UK, has been hard at it, fundraising and training, and has seen their efforts rewarded with a recent flood of donations from friends, families and commercial partners.

With under a week to go until the team heads to the starting line in Keswick, the aim is to push on and raise even more funds for the UK’s leading mental health charity.

“I’m incredibly proud,” begins Greg. “There’s a fantastic team taking part in the 24 Peak challenge and to raise over £10,000 at this stage is an incredible achievement.

“I’d like to personally thank everyone who has donated so far and has spread the word about our efforts. We all genuinely appreciate your support and words of encouragement as we head into the final stretch and begin our attempt.

The group from Conservatory Outlet and its Network of Premium Retailers are attempting the 24 Peak Challenge, one of the toughest hiking trials in the country. Starting and finishing in Keswick, the group will attempt to climb 24 of the Lake District’s highest, well-known and toughest peaks in a 24-hour window.

In total, the group will cover 35 miles and climb over 4,000 metres – a distance and ascent comparable to climbing Ben Nevis three times in succession.

The team has been putting in the miles ahead of their effort, with participants hitting the trials in the UK and abroad in preparation.

“We’re going into this challenge with our eyes wide open,” continues Greg.

Completing that distance in a couple of days is tough enough, but doing so in just 24 hours is something else. Seeing the fundraising total steadily rise and surpass the £10,000 mark has given us extra motivation whilst training.

“We’re all ready and raring to go. Bring it on!”
