Stacey Rowley, business development manager for Comp Door, is preparing to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, over a ten day period.
This climb aims to raise £2,500 towards the £50,000 group target set for the charity Kelly’s Heroes.
Kelly’s Heroes is a charity dedicated to supporting raising much needed funds for mental health and bereavement charities such as MIND and SOBS.
As part of her commitment, Stacey has launched a fundraising campaign to reach her personal target of £2,500.
Stacey said: “I am deeply inspired by the work Kelly’s Heroes does to support anyone facing the hardship of mental health issues. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a significant personal challenge, but knowing that every step I take will help raise funds for such an important cause makes it all worthwhile. I hope to not only meet but exceed my fundraising goal to support the incredible work Kelly’s Heroes does.”
Pierre Mifsud, managing director at Comp Door, added: “We are incredibly proud of Stacey and her dedication to supporting Kelly’s Heroes. Her commitment to both her professional role and this challenging charity climb exemplifies the values we hold dear at Comp Door. We fully support her efforts and encourage everyone to contribute to this worthy cause.”
