The Comp Door team celebrated the business’ second birthday by sharing a pizza lunch together last month (November). The lunch was catered by Nonnina’s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza. Comp Door is a Staffordshire-based composite door manufacturer and supplier.
After Comp Door was founded in 2021, the Comp Door team didn’t manufacture their first door until March 2022, as they spent the first four months developing and refining designs. When the company was launched, the leadership team’s aim was to use the extensive industry experience of staff at the management level to restore the reputation of composite doors using attentive customer service, sturdy design and long-lasting finishes.
Two years on, the Comp Door team produces 500 doors a week and employs a staff of almost 60. One new hire joined the team each month on average to support expansion.
“We’ve had such phenomenal success at Comp Door that it’s sometimes easy to forget we’re only two years old,” said Pierre Mifsud, Comp Door’s technical director. “Looking at where the company is now compared with November 2021, it’s almost unrecognisable.
“It makes me immensely proud to think of how much this company has achieved, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible staff we have at Comp Door. Whether they have been with us since day one or for one month, each employee’s hard work and dedication make this company what it is, so it made sense that we mark our second birthday by saying thank you to our team with a delicious free lunch on site.
