A new range of high-quality PVC-U windows and doors, said to be tailored exclusively to the needs of the trade market in Scotland, is now available with CMS Trade.
A dedicated new division of CMS Window Systems, CMS Trade is operating from a new 25,000ft2 factory in East Kilbride to the south of Glasgow. CMS Trade is led by some familiar figures from the window and door industry in Scotland; Colin Torley (general manager) and Stuart Glen (factory manager,) both of whom have over 35 years industry experience.
The new manufacturing facility offers a PVC-U window and door portfolio based on the Eurocell and Rehau profile systems. According to CMS Trade, it provides a complete solution for residential new builds or replacement projects, large or small, enabling small builders and installers to work with a local manufacturer, and all delivered free within 25 miles of East Kilbride in a five day turnaround (and just 24 hours on re-makes).
CMS Trade says it will enable trade customers to benefit from CMS’ manufacturing expertise, which is said to have been the key to its rapid growth in becoming one of Scotland’s largest window and door manufacturers in just over 13 years.
CMS Trade adds that it will also help customers to reduce their landfill waste costs and improve their environmental credentials through its free recycling service.
David Ritchie, CEO of CMS Window Systems, said: “Creating a dedicated factory for CMS Trade has enabled us to develop a product range and service geared to the specific needs of trade window and door customers. It’s a fresh new approach that we think is a win-win for trade customers.”
