Bohle has expanded its Liftmaster range of handling equipment with the Liftmaster B1 portable lifter. Designed for use by a single person, the new device, which is said to be smaller, lighter and more compact than the 320Kg capacity B2 model, is capable of moving, handling and mounting flat glass, IG units and other non-porous sheet materials up to 180kg.
At just 0.8m wide, Bohle says the Liftmaster’s compact design and excellent manoeuvrability make it well suited for daily use in glass companies or site work. For example, glass can easily be transported through standard doors, subject to sufficient height, by simply rotating the sheet through ninety degrees and lowering it onto the rubber pads of the longitudinal track, which can then be tilted for transport.
The Liftmaster B1 is equipped with a compact, manual suction lifter as standard. A dual circuit vacuum system with four suction pads, a reserve tank, a low-pressure indicator and an additional vacuum display are designed to ensure high levels of safety. The manual suction lifter has been developed by Bohle to be easily demounted with a quick coupling adaptor to be used independently of the Liftmaster. The suction lifter is available as a separate item article number BO B18DM4 and is equipped with eye hooks as a standard. An optional crane arm is available which enables the device to be rotated vertically by 360° or tilted horizontally by 90°.
