The Business Micros Group is a main sponsor of this year’s G Awards (G23) presentation ceremony, which is set to return to the Hilton Park Lane hotel, London on Friday 24 November. The awards are dedicated to celebrating ‘innovation and exceptional performance from the best companies and the best people in the UK market’, according to organisers.
“We’re the biggest software provider in the market now with Touch, The Consultancy, Glazing Vault and BM Aluminium all alongside the original Business Micros business, so it feels only right that we should be at the heart of the biggest industry events,” said Graeme Bailey, Business Micros’ managing director, after explaining that the sponsorship move was the culmination of a very big year for the software group. The team made a high-profile return to exhibiting at the Fit Show in May, and has continued to roll out the new Touch platform.
“The G Awards is a genuine celebration of talent and success and always a special night – whether you’re a nominee, a winner or sponsor. There are some exciting new award categories this year as well, so we’ll hopefully see some new names on the shortlists. We’re looking forward to it already.”
The G Awards has 14 categories this year, including the new category for 2023: Best Business Initiative of the Year. (Our news story about this can be found online in this report.)
Organisers are now inviting entries for G23, and interested company representatives can visit g-awards.com for details of how to enter the awards scheme. The deadline for entries is Friday 21 July 2023.
The G Awards is set to be ‘the biggest event and party for the glass and glazing industry’, according to the awards’ representatives. Other sponsors of the 2023 awards dinner and presentation include Deceuninck, Epwin Window Systems, Saint-Gobain, Thermoseal, Emplas and Glassolutions.
