The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has announced that BSI, the business improvement company, has joined full membership of the federation.
BSI is said to have shaped best practice for over 100 years, helping organisations around the world ‘embed excellence, build competence and capability for sustainable growth’.
According to the BSI, it transfers knowledge through standards, training, certification and software tools to help clients gain market access, comply with regulations, win tenders and build resilience.
Mark Barsby, BSI technical development manager, commented: “BSI is delighted to join the GGF as we feel it is a like-minded organisation with a clear mission to promote the highest industry standards. We will be aiming to take full participation in key technical meetings to share and gain knowledge as well as to network with other member companies.”
James Lee, GGF director of external affairs, added: “I am sure all connected to the GGF will welcome an organisation of the standing of BSI to the membership of the GGF. Their track record of raising and setting industry standards is second to none. They will be a great asset to the GGF and we look forward to a strong working relationship for mutual benefit.”
Charlotte Broady, BSI global head of marketing, built environment, said: “We are pleased to join the GGF at a time when industry standards and product performance is key to the industry. We are also pleased to be co-exhibiting with the GGF at Fensterbau Frontale in March at Nuremberg. It will provide an excellent platform to showcase our services and support our clients at the window and door industry’s largest international trade fair.”
