Following Element Materials Technology’s (Element’s) acquisition of Exova Group (Exova) last year, the Fire & Building Products part of the business has officially been rebranded with Element retaining the distinct BM Trada and Warringtonfire brands.
According to Element, the decision to preserve the BM Trada and Warringtonfire brands not only reflects their highly regarded status, it also makes the transition easier for customers, ensuring that existing test reports and certifications held by customers will continue to be accepted by controlling bodies and specifiers. Additionally, customers will continue to benefit from the investment they have made in promoting the brands over the years.
Rob Veitch, EVP of Fire & Building Products, Element said: “We’re incredibly proud to be part of Element, and equally proud of our distinguished brands. Both BM Trada and Warringtonfire are well-respected names in the testing, inspection and certification industry and have been for many years, so it is logical for us to retain these well-known and trusted brands.
“Since joining forces with Element last year, we have continued to pursue our shared goal to become the best and most trusted testing inspection and certification partner in the industry by providing consistent and industry-leading on-time delivery, turnaround times and service. This rebrand ensures that our customers continue to benefit from the value of the BM Trada and Warringtonfire brands and provides them with a passport to trade.”
Element claims that its combined business makes it the ‘recognised leader in testing, inspection and certification services’ to a diverse range of industry sectors. With 6,700 experts, operating from almost 200 locations in over 30 countries, customers now have access to increased capacity, capability and expertise for all existing and future materials testing, product qualification testing, calibration, certification and consulting needs.
