Balustrade specialist, OnLevel UK, has announced that all of its products are ‘BIM ready’, and that its BIM files are easily accessible online for its customers.
BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a smart 3D model-based procedure that provides architects, engineers, builders and designers the understanding and relevant tools to more efficiently plan, design, build, and maintain buildings and infrastructure.
“It’s been quite a few years now since BIM was first muted in the industry,” said OnLevel UK’s managing director, Gary Dean.
“Like most things, some were quick to embrace it and others not so. For building product suppliers and manufacturers like OnLevel, BIM ready product information was identified as an urgent and essential requirement, so from day one of launching, I was keen to ensure that all our products were ‘BIM Ready’.
“Although BIM isn’t currently required for every project, it is certainly on the increase,” concluded Gary. “Here at OnLevel we are keen to embrace innovation and appreciate the intention of BIM’s ethos to improve value, operational efficiency, reduce cost and improve the quality of customer outcomes.
