Emplas has reinstated its stock foil colour offer to 10 days, reversing extended lead times that were put in place at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision follows increased stability in foil supply from Emplas’ systems partner, Profile 22.
Jody Vincent, Emplas’ sales director, said: “The last couple of years were clearly tough, and we weren’t able to maintain service levels on foils because we didn’t have the product to manufacture. In the last three months, we have been able to significantly increase our stock holding, which means that we can reinstate our pre-Covid lead times.
“As the market becomes a little more competitive, we believe that puts our service back where it should be and strengthens our customer offer.” This includes three new stock colour options launched by Emplas in 2020: Pebble Grey, Sage Smooth and Claystone. A further 17 options are now available on 10-day lead times.
“It’s really good to now be in a position to move forward positively on colour and foils,” continued Jody. “There are further innovations from Epwin on the horizon on colour, which we expect to be able to unveil to our customers shortly.
