TuffX has announced the installation of the first Ambi Fusion solid glass roof, a project that saw the replacement of an existing polycarbonate conservatory roof.
According to TuffX, the installation company loved the innovation of the Ambi Fusion product, which reportedly allows ‘greater flexibility in the design choice’, compared to other tiled roof systems on the market. The company adds that the appeal of Ambi Fusion is that it can be glazed into any standard roof system, reducing costs and making it ‘quick and easy’ to install.
Ambi Fusion glass is said to come as standard with self-cleaning properties, a ‘U’ value of 1.1, solar heat reflection of 78% and light transmission of 7%.
The homeowner, says TuffX, was looking to replace the existing polycarbonate roof and had looked into alternative solid roof systems on the market, but chose Ambi Fusion, because of the benefits it offered, such as being able to combine white sections with glass that allowed light to ‘flood the room’.
TuffX MD, Graham Price, commented: “It’s great to see our customers embracing our new products, allowing them to be different from other competitors in the market.”
