With almost 30 years’ experience in the glazing sector, Carly Graham has done it all, from sales, to customer service, estimating, to technical and manufacturing. Now, Carly has joined thinkivity and she is turning her hand to the newest essential tool for glazing companies – AI.

The industry will know Carly from her days at CWG Group or The Glazerite UK Group, and more recently with Epwin Group’s Swish Building Products.
“In every one of my industry roles, implementing technology and new digital systems has played a huge part,” says Carly. “It has been great to watch Elton, and the Business Pilot team create such an accessible platform for installers to embrace digitalisation in their companies. So, when there was an opportunity to join thinkivity, I jumped at the chance!”
As well as embracing tech in the workplace, Carly has had a unique experience with AI through her 15-year-old son Dawson. She explains: “Shortly after Dawson was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, we were offered the chance to trial a new AI-controlled insulin pump.
“I went on full research mode and even joined an AI course to see if it could be the right option for Dawson. Now, we trust AI to instruct the pump to deliver the right level of insulin to keep it at a stable level for Dawson.
“With that going on at home, I guess you could say that I was already fully embracing AI, but since joining thinkivity I have seen even more potential, and some amazing tools for the glazing sector.
“The key thing to remember is that AI is here to help – an enhancement, not a replacement, and we’ve got all the knowledge to help companies start to embrace the change!”
