Deceuninck has produced a Covid-19 leaflet with practical advice for fabricators and installers, a series of 11 health & safety posters and PPE kits to help fabricators return to work safely.
According to Deceuninck, the leaflet gives advice on keeping employees safe and reducing the risk of Covid-19 transmission in the workplace. It also offers practical guidance for installers selling and installing in the home. Deceuninck adds that the guidance can be shared with homeowners to establish safe practice and offer reassurance. Deceuninck’s series of 11 posters are designed for shared workspaces to remind people of best practice such as handwashing and social distancing.
Deceuninck MD, Rob McGlennon, said: “As some parts of the industry plan a safe return to work it’s important fabricators and installers have access to sensible guidance on cutting the spread of Coronavirus. Fabricators’ and installers’ top priority is the wellbeing of staff, so we’ve developed a series of posters and a step by step guide to keeping factories, shared workspaces and homeowners’ properties safe to minimise the risk of transmission.
“Provided the correct measures are taken such as the use of PPE, which we are offering to fabricators, and regular cleaning, safe distancing measures and dedicated shift patterns where appropriate, it is safe for window companies to return to work and vital for the UK’s long-term recovery.”
Deceuninck fabricators and installers can download the free A1 posters via a dedicated link at shorturl.at/klvKU and Deceuninck will be sending copies of the leaflet to its customer base.
