Glaston says it will present ‘the next chapter in glass heat treatment business’ at this year’s Glasstec, by combining its ‘technology leadership with smart connectivity’. With a strong focus on giving customers the best possible experience and business results, the company says it will introduce its latest innovations ‘to help glass processors reach an even higher level of performanc’e.
Glaston Insight is described as ‘a platform that gathers global processing data and transforms it into production excellence’. The result, according to Glaston, is improved automation based on actual measured data from the machinery, enabling ‘excellence as standard’. With new smart tools to improve machinery productivity, uptime and profitability, heat treatment machinery can be monitored online, enabling immediate feedback from production, quality and maintenance – wherever you are.
Glaston launched its RC200 and FC500 flat glass tempering furnaces at Glasstec in 2010 and since then, more than 300 lines have been sold. This year, Glaston says it will be setting ‘new flat tempering standards’ with its renewed FC and RC Series. Described as a ‘masterpiece of intelligence’, the FC Series is said to provide a range of ‘cutting-edge’ technological features for even more efficient flat glass processing, while the RC Series is said to offer ‘unprecedented flexibility, ease of use and consistently high glass quality’.
Glaston will be tempering glass live in Hall 15, Booth A 41 to demonstrate the performance of today’s premium tempering lines.
