Glaston Corporation has closed a deal worth approximately €3.4 million with U.S based Cardinal Glass Industries for its FC500 and FC1000 tempering machines. The machines will be delivered during the first and third quarter of 2015.
,“This deal is a continuation of our fruitful collaboration, which from the beginning has been based on technological leadership, ensuring the uncompromised quality of the final product. The Glaston FC1000 flat tempering line, presented at Glasstec in October, represents the most advanced technology and is the right solution for the customer, which supplies glass for demanding facade solutions as well as large quantities of low-emissivity insulated window units,” said Arto Metsänen, Glaston Corporation’s president and CEO.
,Cardinal Glass Industries is described as a leading company in the development of residential glass for windows and doors. It was founded in 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has 6,000 employees located at 37 manufacturing locations around the United States. In addition to its home market, the company distributes glass products worldwide.
,This is the latest collaboration for Glaston, which has also recently closed deals valued at more than €4 million with Colombian company, Tecnoglass S.A, for its GlastonAir and ProBend tempering machines, and European glass processor, Press Glass SA, for three special models of the Glaston FC500 tempering furnace.
