REHAU has added a guide to the new minimum technical competence (MTC) rules to its award winning website at www.rehauanswers.co.uk
With the rules scheduled to come into force on June 6 for anyone who is a member of a competent persons scheme, REHAU has put together a useful guide so that customers can take any action they need to, well in advance of the deadline date.
The online guide explains the new rules and what is required for both surveyors and installers and provides useful links to the websites of the relevant competent persons scheme bodies.
There is also information on the Competent Persons Register for anyone who is not already a member and wants to review and compare the offerings from each of the bodies.
Dean Franklin, REHAU’s technical applications engineer, who is responsible for the content on www.rehauanswers.co.uk, says that the MTC guide perfectly fits with REHAU’s strategy for the website, which is to provide a useful and practical information resource for customers.
Visitors to the website can now choose from three options on the home page – U-value/WER calculations, CE marking compliance and minimum technical competencies and simply click through to the information they need.
The website at www.rehauanswers.co.uk was named Customer Care Initiative of the Year at the G-13 awards.
