Waterford based Bonmahon Joinery & uPVC, which has just celebrated its 40 year anniversary, is the oldest Kömmerling customer in Ireland, with profiles being supplied by Profile Systems for nearly 20 years.
The business began back in 1973, when John Roche, a qualified carpenter began manufacturing timber windows and doors and formed Bonmahon Joinery & uPVC. The company began as a small business but through quality workmanship and local support, the company grew and in 1979, the first purpose built factory was built.
Today, the factory area has tripled in size to accommodate the joinery, PVC-U and aluminium product range for both the domestic and commercial sectors. Akin to its roots, the company remains a family run business under the leadership of John Roche. Over the years the company has reportedly built an impressive reputation as one of Ireland’s most respected fabricators of the C70 Gold system.
Profile Systems is described as Ireland’s leading distributor for PVC-U and aluminium window and door systems, supplying Profine products under the KBE and Kömmerling brands across the whole island for over 18 years. Most recently the company has made its own developments to the Kömmerling C70 Gold system to achieve a ‘U’ value of just 0.8W/m2K, alongside the introduction of the lift and slide PremiDoor.
