Building on the success of the Lockmaster bi-fold range, Yale’s leaders have launched a 25mm multi-point lock variant. The lock has been specifically designed to suit slim, low-sightline aluminium systems, according to the hardware brand’s representatives.
The new Yale Lockmaster 25mm backset multi-point lock fits into slim-sightline profiles. It features a combination of Lockmaster signature hooks, an anti-lift pin and compression rollers for greater security, along with smooth operation, tolerance and ease of use.
“The UK homeowners’ desire for bi-folding doors is understandable, enhancing the lifestyle aspect and utilising outdoor space,” said Paul Atkinson, Yale’s managing director. “The market, having gained strong momentum, shows little sign of abating.
“Our new 25mm bi-fold door lock obviously delivers a high level of security, meeting the requirements of PAS 24, but it also allows for slimmer profiles and slimmer sightlines, complementing modern interior design trends. It is available in both active and passive solutions.”
The entire Lockmaster range is manufactured in the UK and carries the Made in Britain marque. What’s more, following the partnership with Caldwell, Yale is also able to offer a full range of bi-fold ancillary products such as rollers, top guides and hinges.
