The UAP team is set to showcase new innovations at MLA Expo 2023, which is marketed as Europe’s largest locksmith exhibition, on stand numbers H2-76 and 77. UAP is a specialist brand for door and window locks. MLA Expo is due to take place from 20 to 22 October 2023 at Telford International Centre.
At MLA the UAP team is scheduled to display the brand’s Ionic product, an electronic lock that enables users to access it using an app. Advertised as being simple to install and easy to use, the Ionic has been manufactured for timber and composite doors. The lock can be used on properties ranging from individual homes and social housing through to student accommodation.
Fullex Kinetica K4 3-star cylinders will also be made available for locksmiths to view and experience at the MLA Expo. This includes the horizontal version of the Kinetica+ K4, which is designed with additional security features such as a smaller key way, making it even harder to attack.
A team from Security Hardware, a business that was acquired by UAP last year, will also be on hand at UAP’s MLA stand, offering a taster of the business’ domestic PVC-U door and window hardware. This includes products offered under the Schlosser Technik brand.
“UAP’s growth strategy has seen us significantly bolster our product range, providing locksmiths with more choice than ever before,” said Kamila Kasperowicz, marketing director for UAP. “With a focus on innovation, we will be demonstrating how the skills of our in-house team have created outstanding security features and the benefits both for locksmiths and their customers.
“As one of the latest companies to join the UAP family, Security Hardware will be raising awareness of products new to our portfolio such as a high-quality window lock, different types of window handles, and security hardware for vans and garages.” Read more about UAP online, here.
