Leaders of UAP, which specialises in locks and hardware for doors and windows, have extended the business’ range of Duo door handles. Fabricators can now opt for a granite finish, which adds to a five colour options: satin stainless steel, white, black, gold and mirrored polish.
With a 243mm-long backplate, UAP’s Duo door handles are designed to maximise aesthetics and quality. The tube-shaped handle is said to ensure a comfortable grip for the operator, and the product complies with the requirements of the Equality Act (formerly the Disability Discrimination Act).
“Our Duo door handle is highly versatile and has been manufactured to offer a more attractive appearance than many others currently available on the market,” said Barry Halpin, UAP’s national sales director. “As well as ensuring a door is easily accessible for disabled people, fabricators and locksmiths can stock just one handle for several types of application.”
Optimising reliability, UAP’s Duo door handle range has been salt spray tested for 2,000 hours to meet the ASTM B117 standard. Each handle is made from high-grade stainless steel and comes with a lifetime coating guarantee.
