ERA has upgraded all of its decorative hardware options for vertical sliding windows so that they now feature the unique Fab&Fix Hardex finish in eight colours.
According to ERA, this means that fabricators and installers will now be able to benefit from a full aesthetically matching family of products for vertical sliding windows, ‘harmonised in design style’, and ‘perfectly co-ordinating’ with casement windows and doors too. Fab&Fix from ERA is said to be the only brand to offer a choice of perfectly matching hardware with the unique Hardex finish.
Backed by over five years’ worth of research, the coating can reportedly withstand up to 1,000 hours of salt spray testing, resulting in one of the most durable finishes on the market. In addition to the usual colours of white, black, chrome and polished gold, ERA says that more colour options give fabricators and installers more potential to differentiate themselves from competitors.
Hardex bronze is said to be a great alternative to pewter for a modern aesthetic; Hardex graphite affords a ‘classy, brushed steel’ effect for a contemporary look; and antique black is ideal for recreating the ‘hammered’ aesthetic of a period property.
ERA’s range of matching hardware for vertical sliding windows includes sash eyes, sash lifts, bow handles, sash pulls, knobs, standard and high security cam locks, flat fitch catches, keeps and travel restrictors.
Cam locks and knobs are available in three decorative hardware lines – Classic, Heritage and Architectural.
