CENSolutions, the supplier of certification in the window, door and glass industries, has further extended its offering, with joint managing director, Mike Gaillard, becoming a Secured by Design (SBD) licensed consultant for the fenestration industry.
The official police security initiative was set up nearly 30 years ago with the purpose of designing out crime, and CENSolutions has long been helping customers to achieve SBD certification in a cost effective way via its Gold CMS Mark scheme. According to CENSolutions, Mike’s status as an SBD licensed consultant provides additional reassurance to customers that they are working with a company with proven and approved skills and expertise.
Mike explained: “SBD focuses on crime prevention and products which support this. Obviously, windows and doors play a huge role so it is important for us and subsequently, our customers, that we offer advice on SBD related issues. The licensing scheme recognises individuals who are able to legitimately provide SBD guidance, and who have the proven skills, training and experience to do so.
“In much the same way as we assist our customers in proving their security credentials to set them apart from the competition, we too are able to demonstrate that we have exceeded the stringent criteria to achieve licensed consultant status. We can legitimately display the SBD logo and operate with the official authorization of ACPO CPI. At CENSolutions, we take pride in the fact we continue to evolve our offering to ensure we meet the ever changing needs of our customers. We believe obtaining licensed consultant status for Secured by Design is a further example of this.”
