Kenrick has strengthened its long standing relationship with Carl F Groupco, one of the UK’s leading distributors of window and door hardware, by delivering a tailored hardware training programme for 18 staff.
The training programme, held over two days at Carl F Groupco’s head office in Peterborough, was designed to provide the company’s sales and customer service team with up to date knowledge on current and forthcoming industry standards as well as a detailed technical understanding of Kenrick’s extensive range of hardware.
During the sessions, delegates examined and compared a number of hardware products and gained an insight into what fabricators, installers and homeowners look for in systems.
The training was conducted by Kenrick’s sales and marketing director Steve Williams, who worked at Groupco for five years. He said: “We have been working with Carl F Groupco for more than a decade now and have a strong relationship with them, so I was delighted to deliver this training programme. The quality of hardware systems can vary greatly and it’s not always easy to spot what makes one product better than another. These sessions were very worthwhile in helping the team to appreciate the importance of every component within a hardware system and how they determine the overall integrity and performance of the product.”

Among the products on show on the Carl F Groupco stand at the FIT Show was the recently launched Kenrick Excalibur Fast Lock – a high security new door lock, which has been designed to overcome the growing incidence of home invasion burglary. Carl F Groupco distributes a wide range of Kenrick door locks and window locking systems, which have been created to deliver high security and guaranteed performance at a competitive price.
