The UK manufacturer of insulating glass units (IGUs) exclusively for the commercial glazing sector, Dual Seal Glass, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious G16 Awards.
The shortlisting in the Glass Company of the Year category recognises the continued success of the West Yorkshire company, which now employs 120 people at its Huddersfield HQ and manufacturing plant and serves curtain walling fabricators and installers across the UK.
The last 12 months has seen a number of exciting developments at Dual Seal Glass, including the appointment of a new-look board bringing in expertise from across the manufacturing sector, and a major expansion to its site to provide increased production and storage capacity. In a year that the company has celebrated its 21st anniversary, sales growth and profitability remain on track as it continues to secure new contracts from customers who recognise the benefits of sourcing IGUs from a manufacturer with a specialist commercial glazing focus.
Richard Morris, Dual Seal Glass’s joint managing director, said: “The commercial glazing market has emerged strongly from the economic slowdown so we’ve worked hard to ensure our customers have been able to capitalise on the market opportunities by providing them with easy access to the latest glass products and the highest quality IGUs. Our strong supply chain relationships with companies such as Saint-Gobain Glass and Guardian is crucial in giving customers the best.
“We’re extremely proud of the reputation we have established over two decades and this gives us the perfect platform to enter the next era, combining the capabilities and latest technology customers would expect from a market leader with the personal ‘family business’ approach to customer service that our customers value so much and sets us apart.”
