Bournemouth based fabricator, Connaught Windows, recently held an open day to officially launch the Deceuninck Slide & Swing New Wave door to customers and prospects.
The ‘innovative’ door was prominently displayed in Connaught’s showroom where the Connaught team made continuous demonstrations and presentations throughout the day, to explain the door’s mechanics and unique features. It was said to be an ‘informal and relaxed’ atmosphere, with bacon or sausage baps and hot drinks providing refreshment. There was also the opportunity to enter into a prize draw to win a cordless drill.
“We were really pleased with the turnout and the feedback we received has been fantastic!” said Steve Witczak, Connaught Windows managing director.
“To the majority of our guests, the door was a completely new concept and they were pleased to have experienced the benefits. They really liked the design, with its uncluttered clean lines, ease of use and minimal hardware and said that the Slide & Swing New Wave door would soon take over from bi-folds as awareness built.”
Deceuninck sales director, Rob McGlennon, added: “Our Slide & Swing New Wave door is a game changer. It’s great to see our fabricators, and their installer customers, get excited about it – in fact they love it! It’s easy to fit, looks fantastic, is highly secure and we keep it in 26 colour ways from stock. So our fabricators can offer their installers a fantastic patio door and a full set of ‘pretty’ windows, in a wide range of colours with matching or complementary trims, cills and ancillaries – all from stock!”
