One of the biggest talking points at this year’s FIT Show was reportedly the ‘revolutionary, next-generation’ door unveiled by composite door supplier, Distinction Doors.
Commenting on the door, Chantel Roach, Distinction’s marketing director, said, “Our next-generation door was designed with our customers in mind, it requires significantly less glazing time and consumables, delivering more fabricator savings and proving that less really is more. Together with our stunning glass display wall that showcased our new glass range and the unforgettable Oscar the Robot, who informed and entertained visitors throughout the show, our stand created the buzz we knew it would.”
Distinction’s next-generation door is pre-apertured across the six most popular door styles, which significantly reduces machining time, helping to increase capacity and tooling yield and reduce waste disposal costs, all things that will be music to fabricators’ ears.
The standout feature of the door is the revolutionary new glazing system, which has a one-piece glass retention bead that significantly reduces the amount of glazing time and consumables used.
The new glass range that was unveiled alongside the next-generation door features a wide variety of different designs to appeal to all tastes. All designs in the new range will be triple glazed and available in all conventional glass sizes.
Distinction has produced a video to introduce people to the next-generation door. So if you weren’t able to make the FIT Show or want a refresher on what you saw, visit www.distinctiondoors.co.uk/nxt-gen for everything you need to know.
