Investment programme completed

regaleadDecorative Door Products (DDP) by RegaLead says it has completed ‘a full programme of investment’ at its Hawick facility.

This has reportedly enabled the specialist division of RegaLead, which says it provides ‘added value solutions’ for composite doors to get back up to full stock levels in order to meet high levels of demand.

Guy Hubble, joint managing director at RegaLead, explained: “2013 has certainly been the year of the composite door, and all the latest market reports point to this continuing. The composite provided consistent volume growth and profit returns, despite the difficult economic climate, but now, as we see signs of recovery, the demand has proved to be phenomenal, and so it is vital that we do all we can to stay ahead of the game. That is why we are delighted to reveal that we have completed a programme of investment in our Decorative Door Products facility in Hawick, which has allowed us to get back up to full stock levels, effective immediately.”

The facility now benefits from a new Truseal sealed unit line, which is said to bring together ‘all the price and decorative benefits’ of using overseas manufactured, genuine leadlights with the advantages of the ‘service and unit quality offered by UK manufacturing’. This is alongside production equipment which reportedly enables DDP by RegaLead to produce, in the UK, units with or without laminated glass, and with or without low-E glass, in any thickness up to 42mm, with the option of gas filling, ‘exactly as you want it’.
