A full range of Hörmann UK entrance doors is to be on display at the Fit Show in May. The Hörmann UK stand (P21) is also to feature composite doors manufactured by the firm’s sister company, IG Doors, for the first-time, alongside the established steel and aluminium product range.
“The Fit Show is a really exciting time for Hörmann as it provides us with the ideal opportunity to announce our entry into the composite door market,” said David O’Mara, marketing manager of Hörmann UK. The Hörmann team also plans to also showcase the ‘Hörmann Rewards Fitters’ loyalty programme, offering fitters at this year’s show the exclusive opportunity to be the first to sign up to the scheme. “Our new loyalty scheme is a fantastic promotion to reward fitters for installing both garage doors and entrance doors,” added David.
In what the business’ representatives describe as ‘an important move designed to develop a one stop shop’, Hörmann UK is to supply the Truedor range through its own sales organisation. This will enable the company to offer a solution for each sector of the market, according to Hörmann UK’s representatives: the Hörmann Truedor, a competitive composite door; the Thermo 45/65, a mid-range series of steel doors; and a premium-positioned aluminium option.
The Truedor range is marketed as offering installers a comprehensive selection of composite doors backed by the Hörmann brand and support. With more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing composite doors, IG Doors produces the Truedor range from a ‘high-tech facility’ in Blackwood, south Wales. The business is the only supplier of GRP composite doors in the UK to manufacture its own door slab, its representatives have claimed.
“Hörmann’s high-performance range of Thermo45/65 steel and aluminium entrance doors offer good looks and exceptional security, alongside impressive U-values as low as 0.87 W/m²k,” said a representative of Hörmann. “Manufactured from high-grade components and featuring high-security locking systems, the range features an extensive choice of styles, accessories and finishes for the discerning end consumer.”
The ThermoSafe Decoral door is a new addition to the Fit Show stand and is new to the company’s range of aluminium doors. Thermosafe Decoral offers a combination of a high-quality, secure aluminium door together with a selection of new, modern décor finishes and door styles, according to Hörmann’s representatives.
