Distinction Doors has launched its new website at distinctiondoors.co.uk. The new site responds to customer feedback and changes in consumer online habits since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The homepage is dynamic and communicates key attributes, according to Distinction Doors’ representatives. The door journey has been outlined in three steps: ‘Find your door style’, ‘Choose your door colour’ and ‘Pick your glass design’.
Bethaney Larkman, Distinction Doors’ marketing and communications manager, said: “As the UK’s largest supplier of composite doors, it is important that we respond to changes in consumer habits so we can best support our customers and our customer’s customers. This is one of the reasons why we have chosen to invest in a new website.
“The website has been designed and developed to appeal to consumers and will therefore create consumer pull for our customers. We are excited to see the opportunities it will bring in 2023 and beyond.”
Each door range has its own page section with a brief introduction, a product and a lifestyle image, and a ‘View range’ button which reveals the features associated with the range. Below this is a gallery of the door styles. Each one is named and numbered with the Distinction Doors reference code. Each door style is then linked to the company’s door-designer tool, allowing consumers to ‘design this door’ and be directed to the online configurator which opens in a new tab.
Distinction has added an inspiration landing page which has hints and tips from the Distinction Doors design experts. This page encourages consumers to explore the offering. Website visitors can click between ‘Ask the experts’, ‘Door styles’, ‘Colour range’, ‘Glass styles’ and ‘Tips and tricks’.
Further, the showroom locator has been upgraded. Signposted in the header, the showroom page enables consumers to find a showroom local to them using an address search bar.
While the new site is designed for and targets the consumer, the company is still actively connecting with its trade customers, according to leaders of the business. Accessed through the header bar and menu, the trade page provides information for new and potential trade customers.
