has launched a new website for Smartglass at www.smart-glass.co.uk, which incorporates the industry’s first, smart glass selector for conservatory roofs, doors and windows and details its latest ‘pioneering’ Smartglass-W and Smartglass Dynamic powered by SageGlass products.
This new responsive website has been designed with the consumer in mind and not only is it packed with useful product information, a large gallery, FAQ’s and downloads, but it also includes a clever, interactive smart glass selector. The interactive Smartglass selector takes account of conservatory location, orientation, preferred choice of tint and the ability to increase the glass specification.
There’s also a section where consumers and the trade can highlight their preferred specification of door and window glass, to ensure that there’s no risk of glazing that accommodates solar heat gain. Within the selector, there are three options to choose from.
Solar heat gain may be good for the replacement window market, but according to Clayton Glass, it is ‘the very opposite’ of what glass should do in a conservatory. The concept now is to have solar control glass throughout a conservatory and the Smartglass-W range has been specifically designed for conservatory doors and windows with solar control properties, improved security, anti-fade and even true self-cleaning properties.
Jason McCabe, commercial director of Clayton Glass commented: “The new website is a perfect portal for both consumers and the trade and clearly shows off our market leading product range. With our industry first Smartglass-W and Smartglass Dynamic products, we’re helping to transform the way in which we view glass for conservatories and rooflights.
