Following a year-long consultation period, The Rooflight Association (RA) has become a Trade Associate of The Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI).
The CCPI was created to promote an urgent and positive culture and behaviour change in the way the construction product manufacturing industry manages and provides information and marketing on their products. The CCPI was initiated by the Construction Product Association (CPA) as a direct response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety set up in the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
As a CCPI Trade Associate, RA is proactively supporting the CCPI on its important mission to drive a transformational step-change in product information management and marketing across the built environment.
RA Chairman Ian Weakford said: “I’m delighted that the Rooflight Association can lend its support to the CCPI. The ethos and values of the Rooflight Association are very much aligned, as providing independent, reliable, up to date, accessible information for our stakeholders, and which is freely available to download from our website”.
Rooflight Association membership includes most of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of rooflights to the UK construction industry, as well as contractors, installers, specifiers, distributors, consultants and other associated businesses and individuals.
