Extended living space specialist, Prefix Systems, will be bringing warm roof technology to the FIT Show with a number of new roofing developments that, it claims, could ‘revolutionise’ the market for solid, insulated and tiled roofs.
The company will also be showcasing several other ‘impressive products’ for the sector and celebrating its 20th year in business.
Prefix says its own Warmroof product is ‘widely regarded as the most configurable, energy efficient and fitter friendly solid, insulated roof in the market’. The launch of the new Hybrid Warmroof will combine fixed glazing panels within a solid, insulated tiled roof ‘to create something of true grandeur’ according to Prefix.
Central to the stand will be an IX250 warm roof orangery, which will incorporate an UltraSky lantern, with an aluminium external and internal cladding in hardwood, from Prefix’s new Opus range of composite windows, bi-folding and patio doors, conservatories and rooflights. The orangery will be glazed in Smartglass Dynamic, powered by SageGlass, a new, switchable glass which, Prefix says, will be available in five modular sizes of rooflight in just 10 days.
There will also be ‘typical’ conservatory products on show, including a glazed roof supported by a new profile from ‘The Residence’ range; a new aluminium roof system with deep internal section bars and a new veranda and canopy system, presented in a traditional black finish. Prefix will also present the triple glazed, flat, Clearview rooflight and a Velux rooflight glazed into a Warmroof at a pitch of just 10º.
Visitors to Prefix, on stand 139 in Hall 1, will also be able to enter a free raffle, pick up the Prefix newsletter and to collect a free voucher for a celebratory drink in the company’s 20th year of business.
