Modplan, has announced it is adding the Eco roofing range from Leka Systems to its portfolio. Justin Williams, international sales and marketing director at Modplan, said: “The Leka Eco range is the perfect example of our commitment to delivering added value to our customers. The range opens up a wealth of new opportunities for installers looking to capitalise on the solid roof market by offering solutions at more competitive pricing points.”
The Eco range is an extension of Leka Systems’ warm and orangery roof solutions. It consists of the Leka Eco, Leka Eco+ and Leka Eco++ and covers ‘U’ Values from 0.18 W/m²K – 0.12 W/m²K.
Justin said: “Leka products solve two problems in one. The first is the classic problem of a conservatory that is too cold in winter or too hot in summer. The second is a room that offers valuable extra living space but is considered by many of today’s homeowners to be old-fashioned. Leka products transform conservatories into light-filled, warm and contemporary rooms.”
The Eco range is said to incorporate numerous innovations. According to Leka, the biggest USP is the lightweight construction – it claims the roofs are up to 40% lighter than other solutions so, in most cases, existing conservatory frames are able to take the weight of the new Leka roofing system without additional reinforcement. It adds that the system has been designed to be fast-to-fit, requiring between just one and three days on site.
