Conservatory Outlet has been recognised as ‘highly commended’ in the category of Manufacturer of The Year (under £25m) at the Made in Yorkshire Awards 2019. Hosted annually by the Yorkshire Business Insider, the awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in manufacturing amongst the region’s business community.
Manufacturers from across Yorkshire were honoured at the ceremony at the Hilton City Hotel in Leeds.
Conservatory Outlet says that it was awarded the ‘highly commended’ certificate by judges for the way in which it works so closely with its supply chain to achieve business growth, for its significant investment in technology, and in the training and development of its 150-strong workforce.
Michael Giscombe, managing director at Conservatory Outlet, said: “We were thrilled to receive this recognition as a highly commended runner up in an extremely competitive category. We were up against some tough competition in the form of global exporters and technologically advanced innovators – so for a fabricator like Conservatory Outlet to be in the running is a fantastic achievement in itself.
