Network Veka has recently celebrated an installation that saw its cumulative sales pass an ‘unprecedented’ total of £900m.
The £900m milestone was reached when Belfast based member company, Betterhomes, installed a suite of oak woodgrain casement windows to a terraced house in Craigavon, County Armagh.
Betterhomes’ director, Gary Sinnerton, was on hand to present homeowner, Maureen Beckett, with champagne and flowers to mark the occasion. He said: “Mrs Beckett has been full of praise for the quality of our work and service – values that we uphold, both as Betterhomes and as a member of Network Veka.
“We’re thrilled to have helped Network Veka reach this landmark figure. Its enduring success shows it has a winning formula that customers trust and businesses aspire to be associated with. We consider ourselves part of an elite group – one where each link in the chain is as important as the next, and where the shared efforts of member companies benefit the Network as a whole.”
Colin Torley, sales and marketing director for The Veka UK Group added: “£900m is an astounding amount to have been invested through what, essentially, is a select group of the industry’s finest installer companies. Network Veka only accepts members who demonstrate a commitment to being the best, and an ability to maintain those high standards through regular assessment.
Founded in 1996, Network Veka was established to redress a lack of public confidence in home improvement companies Soon to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Network Veka has gone from strength to strength over the years, and claims to offer a raft of benefits to member. Its affiliations cover everything from legal support and discounted rates with BSI to peripheral supplies at preferential rates, and Assure – Network Veka’s Competent Persons Scheme – provides members (and non-members) with a cost-effective route to compliance.
