Hot on the heels of the company’s announcement that it has grown by 18% year on year, Wintech Engineering, the UKAS accredited testing specialist, has extended its Telford facility, in order to stay ahead of this uplift in demand.
“We have added 1,200ft2 to our existing 1000ft2 window and door testing laboratory,” explained Mike Wass, technical director of Wintech Engineering.
“After three months, the building work for the extension has been completed on time and we are currently in the process of moving equipment into the space. We don’t intend to fill it immediately but with the recent growth we have witnessed set to continue, we wanted to add the capacity for growth sooner rather than later.
