The integration of Eastman’s Saflex™ LiteCarbon™ Clear interlayer into AGC’s Low-Carbon Stratobel Glass represents a significant step forward in reducing the embodied carbon of laminated glass products. Saflex™ LiteCarbon™ Clear is a 0.76mm PVB interlayer with a reduced Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 2.4kg CO2 eq/m². This aligns perfectly with AGC’s Low-Carbon Glass, which features a GWP of 5.5kg CO2 eq/m² for 4mm float glass.
